This was the final assignment from my Figure Drawing I course. I have now completed Figure II and feel I have improved beyond this level, but as always I like to use this Tumblr as a log for my improvement.

The assignment was to draw a self-portrait that expressed my personality. I’ve always struggled with finding a balance between myself and my feminine side. I intentionally drew my portrait asymmetrically, half with make-up and all done up and half without as well as with two different expressions to depict this confusion.
